I had quick Q&A with Sadieka - winner of our Summer Bronze Giveaway competition ♥️

  • What do you study?
(Sadieka) I am a second year medical student at Stellenbosch University.

  • What are your passions in life?
I'm passionate about people and caring for people. I feel like the easiest way to show someone you care is by being kind. I'm also passionate about empowering and helping women and young girls realize their worth. It's very important to me that women know that they can be independent and exist outside of a relationship. We don't have to be someone's girlfriend or someone's wife to feel complete. The possibilities are endless for us; we just need to step into our power.

  • What are your hobbies?
I enjoy messing around with makeup and pretending I can follow makeup tutorials on YouTube. I also love watching movies and reading poetry. Poetry keeps me sane.

  • Favorite season?
    Summerrrrr!

  • Favorite song?
I have many favorite songs. The one I choose to listen to depends on which mood I'm in. So right I have La Vie en rose on repeat.

  • Beauty routine?
Skin care is very important to me. I've had eczema since I was a baby. From a young age I was very aware of taking care of my skin to treat and prevent my eczema flare-ups. I always try to spend more money on skin care products than on makeup just because it's better to treat your pimples or dark spots etc. rather than to cover them up all the time. With that being said, I try to keep my beauty routine very simple. Before I shower I remove all my makeup with a cleanser because when you shower the steam opens up your pores. The last thing you'd want is for the makeup to soak into your pores. After I shower I wash my face, add some tea tree oil to my problem areas and then some face cream. For makeup, I do my brows, apply mascara, lipstick and always always apply highlighter.

  • Favorite products from the hamper?
The illuminating drops and the honey bronzer because it makes your skin look glowy and healthy, which I live for! I also really love the eyeshadow crayon. It makes doing a smokey eye soooo easy.
